2012 Stock Truck/Float Parking

In 2012, Royal Show horse livestock exhibitors will be unable to use the Adelaide City Council Park Lands for stock truck/float parking.  However, the Society is pleased to advise that we have been able to secure a booking arrangement with the South Australian Jockey Club @ Morphettville Racecourse - a short drive or tram ride from the Showground.  The SAJC have parking facilities for stock trucks available for 2012 livestock exhibitors for just $20 per day (to a maximum of $150).  There are a limited number of parks, so be quick to return your booking form.

Coca Cola Regional Scholarship Program 

 The Australian Council of Agricultural Societies, with funding support from Coca-Cola, is offering four scholarships to members of agricultural show societies in South Australia. The scholarships of $2,000 each, will be available for members who are studying agriculture related subjects at tertiary level in South Australia.

Preference in awarding scholarships will be based on the commitment of the applicant to regional Australia and their involvement in their local Show Society.  Entries to close 30 June 2011. The scholarship will be presented to the successful applicants at the Royal Adelaide Show.
