Professional Baking


Bakers can enter a variety of classes in the Breads, Savoury Pastries, Patisserie, Sweet Goods, Gluten Free and Best Bakery Lunch. All exhibits in Professional Baking Classes will be judged within customer’s expectations and appropriate production methods for each class. Apprentices/Trainees/TAFE Students are encouraged to enter as well. Judges are looking for the quality of the filling, finish and shape of the product. The competition for the best bakery lunch is a highly contested award that showcases product that is always on offer at your bakery and will comprise two items, one savoury and one sweet. It is the baker’s choice to select products to entice and impress the judge.
