There are parenting rooms in the Atrium and northern Jubilee Pavilion which have baby change facilities and microwaves. All disabled and special needs toilets include a fold down nappy change table.

There is a wide range of catering options available at the Royal Adelaide Show. All outlets are encouraged to offer options for vegetarians and vegans as well as those who require gluten free or dairy free diet. You will find these options scattered around the Showground with notations on their menus, however the vendors listed below offer that little bit more.

Locations: Goyder and Jubilee Pavilion foyers (north and south), Atrium, Ridley Centre (Market Bazaar), Dog Pavilion and adjacent Stirling Angas Hall (north east corner).

Parents with young children can access these toilets as well as persons with a disability or other special needs. All disabled and special needs toilets contain a fold down baby change table. Permanently fixed change tables can be found in the Atrium Parents’ room.

EFTPOS facilities are available at all ticket boxes, Show Kiosks and at most showbag stands and food vendors.

Lockers are available for hire at the Show. Open from 9am until 9.30pm each day, the lockers are available in The Atrium Food Court next to Jubilee Pavilion.

Options for lockers are:

Regular size (82L) all day lockers which can be accessed throughout the day - $10 to hire (plus a $2 refundable key deposit)

Jumbo size (172L) all day lockers which can be assessed throughout the day - $18 to hire (plus a $2 refundable key deposit.

Self-serve single use coin operated lockers - $2 (regular) or $4 (large).

Phone charging lockers - $2 per use.

Lost children or lost vulnerable adults should be taken to the Police Station (northern side of the Public Grandstand).

Wristbands are available at all Show Kiosks, the Show Police Station, BankSA Farmyard Nursery and the Royal Show office.  Wristbands for children and vulnerable adults need to have the parent or guardian’s phone number written on the wristband before putting them on. Police suggest that parents/guardians take a picture of their child/vulnerable adult upon entry to the Show so they have a record of what the child/vulnerable adult is wearing.

All lost property is to be taken to the Lost Property office located east of the Secretary’s office at the back of the Derby Grandstand with valuable items to be taken to the Police at the northern end of the Public Grandstand.

The coordinator of the locker hire has mobile phone charging facilities. $2 per use.

Mobility Scooter Hire: $100 per day

Mobility scooters can be hired from the Kidman Gates on the day, subject to availability.

Girl Guides SA operates this service for a small fee from the rear of the Ringmaster’s building, between the Members Grandstand and the BankSA Farmyard Nursery. It is open from 9am to 9pm daily.


Costs for parcel minding:
$4 per parcel, backpacks
$7 for large parcels, large bags, trolley bags and pushers


Grow a Seed Kits will be available for purchase from Girl Guides SA, with proceeds supporting a Koala Sanctuary at Douglas Scrub and to assist in rebuilding bushfire affected communities.

Location: Jubilee Foyer South

The Kiosks are a one-stop-shop located at the Show entry gates providing Show information, where you can purchase Yellow Brick Road bags, collect your Discount Ride Coupons and Family and Child Value Packs.  At all Kiosks you can also purchase a $12 Return Ticket to come back to the Show for a second time on any day of your choice. EFTPOS facilities are available at all Show Kiosks.

The Royal Adelaide Show is a SMOKE FREE event. Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking zones, designated areas in bars and 20m from the Showground boundary. The remainder of the Showground, is smoke free (including E-cigarettes and vaporisers).

St John First Aid facilities are available at the western end of the Atrium.  St John volunteers will be on duty throughout the Show ready to offer first aid if required.  St John staff will sell first aid kits and provide information at its Atrium Plaza and Jubilee Pavilion locations.

Locations: Dog Pavilion A3, Atrium L7 & N7, Hamilton Boulevard G6 and Beef Cattle Pavilion E16.

Bring your own re-useable bottle to this year’s Show! Five NEW permanent water fountains have been recently installed at locations across the Showground, allowing visitors to stay hydrated and reducing the number of
single-use plastic bottles from landfill.

Wheelchair Hire: $50 deposit (returnable) + $4/hour

Stroller Hire: $30 deposit (returnable) + $4/hour

Lions International will again operate this hire service from the rear of the Ringmaster’s building which is between the Members Grandstand and the BankSA Farmyard Nursery.
