The Handicrafts Competition is the wonderful way for novices and experts alike to get involved in the Royal Adelaide Show. With over 20 categories and more than 480 different classes now is the time to get creative and watch as your imagination comes to life.
Interested in your handicraft efforts making a difference to others? Then check out Classes 1 and 2 where your finished Cuddle Toys and Memory Boxes will be donated to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Or classes 395 and 421 – knitting/crochet, where the best of the squares will be selected to make a special blanket to be raffled off for the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park to help save the Ligurian bee population. All other squares will be made into blankets of varying sizes for bushfire victims after the Show. Entry is free for all these classes so be creative and help spread some cheer.
The Competition Schedule is your source of all important information, so if you are new to the competition or have been involved before, make sure you take the time to read through the schedule carefully.
Entries close on Friday 18 June at 5pm CST so do not delay, get your entries in now.
2021 feature classes to celebrate the international year of fruit and vegetables.
Classes 396 and 422 are the 2021 feature classes and will celebrate the International Year of Fruit and Vegetables. While these are the specifically identified classes, we encourage exhibitors to integrate fruit and /or vegetables into all entries where suitable.
