HANDICRAFTS COMPETITION

Exhibitors can enter a Cuddle Toy, suitable for Children or a Memory Box (entries go to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital) or a Hat/Cap suitable for Chemotherapy Patients (St Andrews Hospital) and a Beanie (Hutt Street Centre). Other sections to look at are Basketry, Leatherwork, Classes for People with Special Needs, Origami, Scrapbooking and Porcelain Art. In 2019, the theme will be the Bicentennial of Queen Victoria’s birth.

2019 QUEEN VICTORIA CHALLENGE
To celebrate the bicentenary of Queen Victoria’s birth in 1819, you are invited to enter a piece of Handicraft recognising the Victorian Period. Each section will have a special Class, in addition to our regular Classes, for the Queen Victoria Challenge – an exhibit celebrating Victoriana style.
