The Learning Centre is a fun, interactive space designed to introduce young people to the many different aspects of agriculture.
There’s a full line-up of hands-on activities and demonstrations every day, including cow milking and sheep shearing, and kids will get the chance to hold, feed and groom baby animals.
The live, interactive beehive is a highlight, with bee demonstrations held throughout the day.
Kids will also have the opportunity to learn where their food comes from and the paddock to plate concept in an age-appropriate way.
The Centre is run by Urrbrae Agricultural High School, giving visitors the opportunity to interact with and learn from their peers. The Centre plays an important role in childhood education and is proudly supported by the Department of Education and the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia.
Observe a fully enclosed live beehive in action, where bees continuously fly in and out to gather food from nearby flowers.
