Public transport is the easiest and most efficient way to get to the Royal Adelaide Show. There are more than 30 Adelaide Metro bus, train and tram stops within walking distance of the Adelaide showground, including a dedicated bus interchange and train station right outside the gates.
Adelaide Metro offers a range of ticket types, so choose the option that’s best for you:
• For easy transfers between any bus, train or tram and access to Regular, Student and Concession fares, use a metroCARD. Grab yours from Adelaide Metro or your local metroCARD retailer. Remember to recharge and register before you go!
• Purchase a range of tickets in Regular, Student and Concession fares on your smart phone with the Adelaide Metro Buy & Go app. You can use up to five tickets at a time – great for families! You can use Buy & Go tickets on all trams and buses, and to transfer to trains departing Adelaide Railway Station.
• It’s quick and easy to tap and pay with your Visa, Mastercard or digital wallet on all trams and buses, and to transfer to trains departing the Adelaide Railway Station. Available in Regular fares only. (You will need to a different bank card or smart phone/device for each Tap and Pay ticket you buy.)
